Sponsors, affiliates & disclosures
How commercial relationships are labelled and kept away from decisions about help.
Sponsored content
Paid, gifted or otherwise commercially influenced content is clearly labelled as an advert or other disclosure appropriate to the platform. A sponsor can fund agreed content or help, but cannot require a misleading claim, hide its involvement or dictate an individual's story.
No guaranteed results
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, audience figures are historic estimates, not guaranteed reach, sales, engagement or press coverage. Brand proposals identify deliverables, approval rights, usage period, fees and cancellation terms before work starts.
Affiliate programme
Approved affiliates receive a flat £1 commission for one qualifying new paid member signup attributed to their code. It is paid once, not monthly. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraud, refunded or reversed payments and misleading promotion do not qualify. Affiliates are responsible for any tax due on their earnings and must clearly disclose that they may earn commission.
Referral codes and payment status are used to attribute signups and administer manual payouts. Exact member payment amounts are not published on the supporter leaderboard.
Separation from help decisions
Commercial value, audience size and referral performance do not decide who receives help. Any exception involving a sponsor-funded, named project is labelled clearly, assessed for safety and consent, and shown separately in the ledger.
